The Station Keepers MV is a group of volunteers who share a mission to stimulate and foster community interest, participation, and involvement at all age levels in cultural activities that reflect the heritage of the Upper Madawaska Valley area and its inhabitants.
We are a federally incorporated not-for-profit organization. We promote, present, conduct and support programs and exhibits that foster interest and celebrate the history of the area.
We are committed to the preservation and enhancement of the Railway Station and Water Tower Park located at 19503 Opeongo Line, Barry’s Bay. These areas are a physical manifestation of the culture and history of the region. Our museum exhibitions and programming are aimed at engaging not only local residents but introducing visitors to our builders, our heroes, our stories.
